visonThe Upper Meadow Lodge was completed in 2007 and recently enhanced to maximize the attributes of the home for the pleasure of our guests. Its 4,300 square feet of warmth and comfort incorporates an Old West Lodge motif that invites you to relax and put your feet up.

The main house has three stories with five bedrooms and four and a half baths and offers four luxurious suites and one beautiful room, each with separate seating areas to enjoy relaxing with your favorite book, as well as a writing table or desk and a rocker.

The 800 square foot Great Room has soaring heavy trusses ceiling yet retains special warmth and a welcoming feel.

In the Cedar grove just outside the lodge is Fern Cottage, a cozy cabin for one or two with its own bath and closet.

Every room in Upper Meadow Lodge has magnificent views. Outside there is a large Jacuzzi spa under a blanket of stars.This fully equipped home serves Palomar mountain spring water from the kitchen tap.

The Lodge has its own well producing 25-30 GPM of the sweetest spring water found anywhere so leave your bottled water at home! The Lodge has Wi-Fi, Satellite TV, outdoor and indoor games, books, puzzles and movies to please every age group. Our guests have use of the laundry room with washer, dryer, iron and ironing board so come and stay for a week with the kids.

A photographer’s dream, the property lends itself to a romantic and memorable mountain wedding, a serene spiritual retreat, a memorable family reunion or a remote company meeting. For catered events there is a well equipped caterer’s kitchen in the oversized garage which allows your caterer to prepare and serve food without taking over the house. Incorporated in the decor are numerous Native American artifacts along with beautiful antique and period furniture.  A number of guests and visitors have said they felt as if they were in a museum-there is history all over the place!

Above all, is the quiet, the beauty, the privacy, the peacefulness. It is sacred space.
